III. 3.1. the recent bad effects mentioned in the text are the floods, the storms and the heat waves. It mentions them having occurred in Britain in August 2004. 3.2. Smal islands will be flooded as a result of rising sea levels. as well as coastal areas. Poorer countries will suffer long-term droughts. 3.3. These predictions are really catastrophic, but, unfortunately, realistic. I hope the governments take action in order to solve this climate crisis. 3.4. They want to prove that we have reached the tipping point where we must join together and take action to keep our planet inhabitable for future generations.
