NOW COPY THIS COMPOSITION, TOO. WHY DON’T YOU TRY TO TRANSLATE IT INTO GOOD PORTUGUESE?

I usually get up at seven o’clock. Sometimes, when I have to drive to school, I get up much earlier, because I live very far from it. On these days I always get up at half past five. Then I brush my teeth and I take a hot shower. Afterwards, I dress myself, of course. My breakfast is usually at seven o’clock and it consists of bread and butter (sometimes cheese, margarine or jam) a cup of black coffee and a piece of fruit. After breakfast I brush my teeth again (by the way, did you know that you should brush your teeth at least four times a day?). Well, when I think I am ready, I usually drive to school. My lessons begin at half past eight in the morning and they usually finish at quarter to six PM. After the morning lessons, there’s a one-hour break for lunch. I have lunch at a restaurant nearby and then I come back to school for the afternoon lessons. I always arrive home between six and seven PM, depending on the house I’m arriving at. At half past seven I have dinner (a very light one), I brush my teeth again (remember?) and I prepare some of my lessons for the next day. Sometimes I have works or tests to evaluate, but i usually do this at weekends. On Saturdays and on Mondays things usually change a bit. For example, I can sleep until much later, let’s say, 10 o’clock, for example. Weekends are important to recover our energies.

(Have a nice Christmas time. You and all your family, of course...

See you next year!)

writing-letter1Find below a short excerpt of a text on animal cruelty and vegetarianism. The excerpt is part of the text that will be included in the final test of Module 6, for those students who had no success in the first attempt.

(The author decided to help the animals that were suffering all kinds of neglect and cruelty in circuses. He found out that he could do a lot of things to help them…)

(…)  As there was nothing for vegetarians to eat in our school cafeteria, I asked the administration to offer vegetarian food. Last year I started my school's first animal rights group.

I have tried to do all I can to give more information to other people about the dangers of eating meat and the good things about vegetarianism. I think I have changed some people's opinions about the killing of animals for consumption.
